Boo.

Whoever borrowed this copy of City of Ashes before me was a real dick. They:

• Clearly ate something while reading? The book is full of tiny indentations.
• Ripped a section out
• Tore three pages (so far)
• Left a big black smear down one page
• AND BURNED A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF ONE OF THEM
• What
• I don’t even
• Were they trying to turn the actual book into ashes?

ETA I just found another burnt page, with a hole sort of in the shape of Vulpix?

Michelle, I don’t regret this. But I both rue and lament it.

This annoying guy in linguistics looks so much like the evil dad from Kindergarten Cop, it’s insane.

I keep wanting to move the small child sitting next to him away from him, lest he try to kidnap her.

The fam-jam is planning a trip to the US in January, and we’re currently working out a bit of an itinerary. We only have two locations locked in: Phoenix, where Dad’s conference is, and Toronto, to visit Alisha’s Family.

where from?

University of Newcastle Book Sale. Happens once every two years, is legitimately one of the highlights of my year. If this was like, a permanent store… oh my heart.

I didn’t mean that, the purple 15 second page nearly killed me. And as for the answer, I just made it up, multiplied numbers by 42. Wasn’t even sure which book I was meant to be looking in :P

It’s 7 days, 7 clues, 7 books. One book per day, in order. But anyway, ‘grats.

I’m never gonna get in. FUUUU
